The state Supreme Court has ruled Hawaii’s constitution requires “reasonable access” to Hawaiian language immersion programs as a necessary component of restoring the language and ultimately the culture. Hundreds stung after man-of-wars invade Oahu beaches. Thousands of Portuguese man-of-wars invaded beaches across Windward and east Oahu on Tuesday, in what’s believed one of the largest influxes of the creatures in years. Hawaii News Now.

Thousands of Portuguese men-of-war spotted at Kailua, Waimanalo beaches. Honolulu Ocean Safety officials issued a warning of a large influx of Portuguese men-of-war at windward side beaches, including Makapuu, Waimanalo and Kailua beaches. Star-Advertiser.
