Neighbor islands to decide governor's race, census worker trespassing, Honolulu faces $1.7M fine for dumping in waterway, more state news

With most polls showing a whisker- thin margin between the two main Democratic contenders for governor and some also showing the Republican candidate within striking distance, the neighbor islands are becoming popular destinations for statewide political candidates seeking that edge.   1. Kauai and the rest of the outer islands will never go for Oahu candidates. We have had ENOUGH of Oahus rule. No Mufi, and no Aiona, unless you are from Oahu, and now currently living on Kauai. The people of Kauai say NO to Oahu rule. Outer Islands people will have their voices heard. And we will be speaking loudly in the voting booth.
